Alison Heittman is an experienced business manager, a talented researcher, and technically knowledgeable information architect. She has executive responsibility for Solertium operations and is the company’s visionary founder.
She assures Solertium's continued profitable operations by managing customer and vendor contracts, overseeing compliance, and establishing sound financial management policies and practices.
Locally, she has helped a number of Williamsburg businesses establish their Web presence and expand into e-commerce and better data management. On the world stage, she most recently coordinated technical implementation of the Protect Planet Ocean joint venture between IUCN, Google, and a global community of environmental NGOs.
Under her direction, the GoGoEgo content management platform has evolved in exciting directions, effectively serving a broad base of customers from small businesses to large non-profits. She is excited for the 2009 global launch of GoGoEgo Commerce.
Alison is a committed environmentalist who supports and evangelizes green business, green buildings, and green technologies. Woe betide the Solertium staff member who fails to recycle properly.
Prior to her position at Solertium, Ms. Heittman served as Managing Parter at Cluestream Ventures, Information Architect for Worldweb.net and Manager of the Information Resource Center at the Association for Manufacturing Technology. She holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College in Boston, and a Bachelor's degree from the College of New Jersey in Trenton.
