Liz Crump Schwartz is a software developer and in-house problem solver.
In her customer-facing role, she is the product manager for GoGoEgo commercial products, including the forthcoming GoGoEgo Commerce.
Wearing her engineering hat, she is also technical lead for the Google App Engine port of the GoGoEgo runtime and IUCN's RapidList. She is responsible for the Google App Engine elements of the Protect Planet Ocean portal, and implemented the Criteria Calculator expert system for IUCN's Species Information System Toolkit.
In between these nontrivial responsibilities, Liz manages to find time to continue her work in cryptography, pursuing a doctorate in computer science at the College of William & Mary. She also brings her brand of awesomeness to the field of sport, captaining the GoGoEgo Underdogs volleyball team to four first-place trophies (so far). She also pioneered the exciting new field of "bacon intelligence" to help our customers in the restaurant sector.
Liz studied computer science at Mary Washington College where she graduated magna cum laude with honors. She later received her Master's degree in computer science at The College of William & Mary. The work from her master's thesis was published in Asiacrypt 2007 in "On Tweaking Luby-Rackoff Blockciphers".
