Carl Scott joined Solertium directly upon completing his Computer Science degree from the College of William & Mary in 2007, and immediately became a mighty force to be reckoned with in the company's commit logs.
Early projects for Solertium included the GoGoEgo platform (including its extensive Commerce modules), PostLaunch Studio, and a research point-of-sale platform. This large body of work afforded him a uniquely high level of expertise in Java, REST patterns and Google Web Toolkit, allowing him to take over primary maintenance and ongoing development of the IUCN Species Information System Toolkit in 2010.
More recently, Carl's wizardry extends to Android, Rails and RubyMotion. He continues to be an active committer on all Solertium projects and the team's go-to resource for integrating web service APIs. Credit card gateways, point-of-sale systems, management systems, mapping services and social platforms - Carl has successfully wrangled them all.
